CSK Fan
Suarez did it with tact' date='got away 3 times....biting the ball for cameras in all angles to capture is a different feat altogether :haha:[/quote'] He did NOT get away, he will be banned for the rest of this world cup thereby costing his team much more

Raghav_12
:cantstop: Nope, you play within rules and win at any cost.. not outside of it. you got the idea wrong. don't think if football rulebooks say anything specific on part of biting
CSK Fan
So 24 matches and/or 2 years ban is what he is likely to get
Old guy
So 24 matches and/or 2 years ban is what he is likely to get that is huuuge!:omg:
Sachin=GOD
that is huuuge!:omg: No way. In fact it's still not that big a punishment IMO. He has a history of biting opponents - this is the 3rd time he has done it. He deserves a life ban.

SLICKR392
that is huuuge!:omg: With the history he has, he should never be allowed to play the game again.

Sachin=GOD
Lol ..he is great player...ban like that will lead to big controversy and might finish his career He is not a great player. And even if he is, there is NO justification for what he has done, especially since he has already done this twice before. He is now a danger to other players on the field and as such he should not be allowed to play at any level.

yoda
He will be banned from the rest of the WC for sure, otherwise FIFA will lose all credibility. They should also drop all the referees from the game first for the red card of the Italian player which was total BS and then for missing this bite. Raghav_12
I think he should be allowed to play if he agrees to play the next game wearing mask that Anthony Hopkins wore in Silence of Lambs.
Number
Life ban is OTT. A biting is not much different from a headbutt, you don't get life ban for doing that 3 times in your career.
veer
don't think if football rulebooks say anything specific on part of biting I am sure there are some general rules that covers biting also..
Number
Luis Suarez: Uruguay players and media hit out at 'hypocritical' English and Giorgio Chiellini over bite http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/players/luis-suarez/10924994/Luis-Suarez-Uruguay-players-and-media-hit-out-at-hypocritical-English-and-Giorgio-Chiellini-over-bite.html After England game, Suarez took a jibe at English media, so it was expected for them to go OTT over this.
