But NZ leave out quicker pacers like Kuggeleijn.

Have seen just 2 quicks play with any regularity, Bond and Ferguson.

kuggeleijn has cases against him ,his life is messed up.They did pick ferguson in odis and t20s,even milne is in the loop.

There are some younger guys as well. But they too are reluctant on quicks.

They are not reluctant on quicks. Their fast medium bowlers tend to be more effective. Milne is injury prone and when healthy is floaty and can be smashed.

It not always about the options visible at international level.

But even at that level there are Kuggeleijn, Tickner and Milne who ard all sharp and don't play much.

And Kuggeleijn and Tickner are not good enough regardless of their pace. Considering all are fully fit, they can't play ahead of an attack of Boult, Jamieson, and Ferguson. Kuggeleijn especially averages 30 and 32 in domestic formats.

Tickner around 35 in both.  Milne can be a decent back up option for Lockie but that's about it.

It's often an issue of trying or not trying to mould the raw talent with objectivity and intent.
