You Can keep Speculating IF'S and But Ultimately it is about What suits the Conditions most. That would Mean Ashwin For Binny IMO, Looks the pitch Will assist Spin as it goes On more than it Will Assist Seam and Added Bonus That Ashwin Is More Reliable Batmen. So let me get this straight. England have shown a remarkable consistency in collapsing on different pitches against different bowling attacks that target their off stump with a little bit of movement and/or short pitched bowling. And your solution is hope to win the toss just so Ashwin can bowl on the 4th/5th day because he has such a great record outside of India right? :haha: This is typical of a loser/cowardly mentality. England are reeling from Lords and instead of going for the knock out punch with a fast bowler like Aaron/Pankaj right from start in their 1st innings you want to wait till the 4th/5th day hoping we win the toss just so Ashwin can take advantage of a pitch that may or may not deteriorate enough for spin. Yeah, I can already see England's batsmen quaking in their boots against our mystery spinner who has a strike rate of 2million outside India.

We Still Have 3 Other Pacers To Expose England's Problems Against the Short Ball / Moving Ball. Btw Although Ishant Bowled Some very Hostile Short Balls, Some of there Shots Were Very Average And I would Not be Banking On Reckless Shots To Get Wickets Again

Which one is the actual pitch? There is a green one in between. 2 white strips on each sides. I do not think they have already left the pitch grassless. It will be spinners heaven if that happens by 3rd day itself under the sun.

England do not have any regular spinner in their squad. I would like to think they will make sure that pitch does not break by at least keeping brownish grass.
