Cook's captaincy was definitely not upto the Mark....?? with Moen gone - he should have asked his last pair of batsman to comfortably duck and save the test...Were they dreaming to WIN this TEST??? the england wicket keeper and Joe root and Stokes were not so Brave that they could have won on such a Track.. they were Supposed to Save the Game and I beleive that they could have manaaged to Still save the test if they had put in the right effort as Jadeja was getting slow turn and Pacers were PLayabale( not UNPLAYABLE).... Secondly i think they got out in trying to HIT ISHANT...trying to serve their EGO and Prove a POINT that they are great Batsman.... Larger Aim of the team was to save the test. Do you guys Agree to this Point that possibly england Shot themselves in the foot...Ofcourse Ishant Bowled dangerous BOUNCERS but they could have opted to bend down and save themselves....Isahnt was not bowling bouncers at 145k..possibly he was bowling at/under 138k...they could have saved themselves out /fot out of the tuf time.. Ishant also played tha cards well by CHallenging them - challenging Prior , root and even hitting Broad. I was surprised to see that SHammi did not get more success.

There was no chance for a draw. Result was certain. Ishant bowled some good bouncers throughout his spell and got it up high, directed towards the chest and head area and pace was also up, 135-140kph. It would have rattled the batsmen a bit and got them into playing loose shots. It was a great spell of fast bowling. Run scoring was not easy on this pitch. You had to graft and play many overs to score runs which England lower order batsmen probably didnt fancy. They thought they could score some quick runs off the short delivery and perished. They could have played Ishant more cautiously and saw him off but they took him on, a bit like Jadeja did against English bowlers. But the strategy didnt work. About Shami, he is not tall and he generally doesnt get steep bounce as Ishant. He has to pitch it further shorter to get some height which gives batsmen a good look. He is also more of a swing bowler rather than a hit the deck bowler. So his bouncers are lot less effective.

I have a bit of sympathy for Cook in the sense that I can understand his thinking. He saw the way Jadeja countered and thought England could do something similar. And as he said - the first 2 overs after lunch when they had scored 20 runs nobody was moaning about it then. I think there might've been a bit of ego involved but Ishant did work hard enough to force them to make a choice. India also caught well under pressure after lunch.

Sorry I don't agree with this. I think India could have drawn yesterday India could have lost yesterday England could have won yesterday India-England could have tied yesterday Also, KT "could have" been the captain of the Indian cricket team yesterday too.
