She is a MP and also the daughter of a Indian state CM. Never, heard any MP making such scandalous remarks. And still, you want it all to be taken lightly. Had this been a BJP member, would we be getting the same reaction? This would have been breaking news.

There is nothing scandalous in her remarks .Yes they are controversial doesn't make it illegal to put her in jail. Everyone has a right to express their opinions just becoz they are MP doesn't mean it is different. Aldo BJP or allies won't make similar comments on this issue their opinion is along with the majority view. But they have made plenty of insensitive views similarly in other sensitive issues and I don't remember any of their members being put in jail. As for her comments their is lot of truth in it. If both India and Pak were mature democracies we would have let Kashmir form a independent country long ago. The fact remains that we had a referendum in Sikkim and always refuses it in one pretext or other when it comes to Kashmir .Obviously Pak makes most this messy but that doesn't mean GOI arent messing it.

When did I say about putting her to jail, but the very minimum, she should explain her comments and media should scrutinize her. You remember the Vaidik controversy and compare that , there is complete silence on this issue And her comments are absolutely false, Kashmir is and will remain part of India. It's anti-Indian if you state otherwise.
