We are beginning to see the change of guard in indian cricket at least in ODIS.Dhonis comments about Yuvraj and his liking and special praise for yuvraj shows how much he thinks of Yuvraj and how casual were his comments about sachin missing on his hundered. Triumphant captain Dhoni thanked his teammates and singles out Yuvraj again for special praise This shows he places more importance on Yuvraj than any other team mates. Azhar captaincy and his success as a captain were due to Sachin , Kapil dev was on his last legs all Azhar comments were about Sachin then now Dhoni is giving the same importance to Yuvraj.

i wouldnt think like u man...since yuvi is continously finishing game in a style....sachin has got enough praises from players from dhoni also...and if dhoni keep praise yuvi and yuvi perform like that then whts wrong in it...and true sportsman wont never think abt being praise by some one...he will only concetrate on his game..

So what did you wanted Dhoni to say instead?..That Sehwag is our best Loi batsmen.hahaha Last odi he said Harbhajan bowled beautifully and so on..He praises everyone too but Yuvi gets more cuz he is class and was just involved in another partnership with msd.Msd loves batting with this guy. Even Tendulkar has praised Yuvi quite a few times at presentation ceremonies and shared his mom(not from today but from before) with him and so and so.

Well there is nothing wrong with singling out someone for praise ... but consistently doing so every game even in matches in which Yuvraj was not the best performer is a bit of a stretch. And yes, he is backing it up ... against Pakistan. Hopefully he does so against Australia too. Otherwise it seems like Dhoni is just feeding the biggest ego in the Indian team.
