I support dhoni here for standing by jadeja but his judgement all skills on this has been nothing short of an embarrassment.

I like the Sri Lankan team when they face up to Australia or England when it comes to these matters. Even though they are from a small country, they never step back and always reply in the same coin because they have lot of self respect and pride. Indians always try to re-conciliate even if the fault is with others because they have a passive mentality and get ready to roll over without a fight like some of the people in this thread are already blaming Indian cricketers for prolonging the issue. Minus the chucking incident and Ranatunga being Ranatunga, the Australians love the Sri Lankans because they play hard cricket and never give up. India every time their tour here (minus 2003/04 and 2007/08) generally gave up when the going went tough. Anderson always sledges on field but he as much as I dislike him and think he is a massive flog, would never say anything really bad that could be perceived as racist. IN regards with Monkeygate, we could hear Hayden and I doubt Hayden would make up something like that. The problems were that Harbhajan should have been banned on previous offenses which somehow disappeared or forgotten. Also it involved racism which in sport is a massive issue along with homophobia. Both are obviously wrong. Also BCCI threatened to pull out of the tour which they didn't with Anderson's little spat, so Cricket Australia left the Australian cricket team out to dry which was a horrible thing to do

The same has been the case with Anderson isn't it? Look, bhajji has had issues just like Anderson but none of them were racist. So, if you say that on past accounts Harbhajan should have been banned then so should have Anderson. The fact remains that you can't trust man to man here. Be it Sachin, Dhoni, Hayden or anyone. Everyone would try to save his own team mate. Racism against Harbhajan wasn't proven the same way the pushing against Anderson hasn't been.

MonkeyGate2008 vs Cloudygate2014 The difference with the Harbhajan episode is that at that time there were testimonies from the Aussies but no Indian player was there to give a different version. Even Tendulkar said that he did not hear anything in the first hearing and changed it to teri maaki later. Here there are completely conflicting versions from both the sides and therefore it's one man's words against others.
