Australia has 3 Test Batsmen averaging over 40 (Warner, Clarke and Smith) and all of them minus Haddin average +40 in FC Level. Bowling wise - Lyon - 32.99 - 112 Wickets Pattinson - 27.07 - 51 wickets and averages 30 with the bat Siddle - 29.37 - 188 wickets Johnson - 27.42 - 264 wickets Harris - 22.56 - 103 wickets Yeah this team was a lot better than 11/12 series in Australia.

I am not too sure on the fitness of Harris. That surgery he is having. Again he could be fit or he could not. Aus probably wont need harris is another issue. But i personally wont pin him down as a starter atm. Same with Pattinson.

Too early to predict. Will have to look into AUS players' form. I dont think there is any good young players like Ballance, Root, Buttler coming up in Aus currently. Theoretically India will not perform poorly in Australia. Right after the WI series our batsmen will be high on confidence. They, esp Rohit can leave balls without having to worry about getting bowled or lbw because of the bounce.

he is not. but he is having surgery. Knee surgery from what i know. Those things can take a long time to fully heal. I do believe he is going through with it cause he is targetting the ashes in the summer.

Australian conditions are dry and not green to assists seam and swing. On the contrary, the conditions there suits reverse swing more. But I don't think so that present indian line up is equipped to handle the bodly line short pitch bowling by mitch and co.

Australia are no doubt the best team at home right now and they are much Better than England with a world class pace attack and great HTBS..the way india surrendered against a not so good England side,I can only pray for us when we tour australia.most likely to be a disastrous tour

I somewhat agree with mulo.our batsmen might do better because clearly their biggest problem is tackling swing bowling,in aus it won't swing as much as England and some batsmen may Like the true bounce of the pitch but let's not forget that this aus bowling attack is relentless and can make u jump on ur heels. Talking about bowling,yes we need and have to play 5 bowlers with 4 genuine pacers,ideally pishant,Yadav,Aaron,bhuvi to manage the workload of the bowlers so they can be fresh every time they come to bowl especially later in the day. The top priority is slip catching and unless our lads improve their reflexes and undergo long catching session,it won't improve. They need to be motivated,a demoralised team is the last thing we want

We don't need both Aaron & yadav both. Both can be thrashed for 5rpo. Ideally Aaron, Yadav & Shami should be rotated

The difference between the English and the Aussie tour will be - Indian batting came apart after the second test in England, but Indian bowlers did pretty well throughout the series. If the batsmen had given them a fighting total they would have performed even better. In Australia, not only our batting will come apart, but Australia will make mountains of runs too. We could see numerous sub 150/200 Indian totals and quite a few 500/600+ Australian totals. The margin of defeats are likely to be very massive. If innings and 244 runs was possible in England, here we might see innings and 300-400 runs!

Dont exaggerate, we will have only four 500+ aussie scores and only eight < 250 scores by India.....
