Yantra Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Umesh should say big thanks to Shastri for being included in the current team and if I am not in my assumption will play 2015 WC also. I have heard Shastri as commentator ever since he retired, accept that he is to BCCI's Chamcha but has great ablility to see good talent in player, few name that comes to my mind when he saw few players in very early days and forecasted good about those players are Raina, Yuvi, Nehra, Zaheer, Agarkar to name a few. With Shastri at helms it will be good for players like Umesh, Raina, Rahane, Aaron who have abundance of talent but lacks confident at higher level (thanks to Cap cool Dhoni who prefers debly dubli trundlers compared to genuine match winners), what you will see is that genuine match winners given longer go and confidence to perform good for Indian cricket.
