The story would be, Avengers will again have some ego problem, then ultron army come flying on trucks (instead of snowboards) over some city and our heros save the day. They might have thought this twilight era audience can't take more than 3 lines of story, so make it simple and make millions And why did they make so obvious that ultron is a rip off of brainiac?? Comic version of ultron is atleast a bit different. A bit unfair, could equally slate Dark Knight series for being relentlessly grim and humourless - interestingly Interstellar is getting similar criticisms. Marvel films are deigned appeal to a wide family audience generally, and even then The Winter Solider was a pretty mature action/adventure film Is this the same series where Supes figures out Batman's Bruce and he plants a chip on Supe's cape and follows him? Hank Pym is one of the few characters I like in Marvel. Disney atleast made some little connections in previous films, now it's apparent that they have no respect to the comic book, and Marvel is not officially Disney's biatch.[/quote'] Yeah Ideally theyd have made Ant Man prior to Avengers 3, introducing Pym and even Ultron. Dont think Ant man has Janet/The Wasp in it too which is poor. I think they badly needed a big villain for A2 , and its too soon for the big Thanos/Infinity Gauntlet storyline which is the 3rd and 4th in the series. Could have gone for Kang or the Skrulls possibly, certainly no shortage of options. 'The Twins' can not even be referred to as Mutants in this so they drifted away from comic storylines in many ways either by choice or been forced to. Loved it in DOFP when QSilver met Magneto. Im intrigued by the possible Civil War film, youd think a much larger roster of Heroes would be needed to make it work (if staying true-ish to the comics)- no Spidey or X Men for a start and even the ones Marvel DO have rights for like Strange and Panther are not intro'd by then... well thinking about it they dont even have secret ID's and Panther is Wakandian... perhaps by then Daredevil,Powerman and Iron Fist (can't wait for that) will be up and running!!

Most moments come out in a mood whiplash, so it was a bit difficult for younger audiences to understand. Avengers is a straight out pop-culture-esque diehard meets superheros who poke fun at each other and do gags. I already admitted it works well, but it won't stand the test of time. Even Transformers gross billion dollars, but no one wants to watch it now. There is a shortage of options to make good villians. Imo, they absolutely wasted an awesome villian in Red Skull, and the HYDRA within the cap movies. None of the Marvel villans are as magnificent as Red Skull. Quicksilver is just a lame version of flash, so I m expecting some DC-esque moments in A2. Kang is too lame. I guess Skrull is a FF villan, so might go to Fox studios. Civil war film is not possible, it's coming for real. And Civil war without spider man is too absurd. I don't think Disney is going to stay faithful to comics. Disney wants more $$, and their Marvel gallery is too black & white. The good marvel comics are Xmen, Spidey and fantastic four. Dr. Strange is making his movie debut so it's a good news for Marvel. A character like daredevil is badly needed in avengers. But the good one is Frank Miller's Daredevil, who would never fit in disney's avengers

I mean 300 was good and unique but I would rather watch paint dry than watch Watchmen,Man of Steel(ok for 1 time viewing) or Sin City. Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy is the perfect benchmark a comic book movie should be like-Entertaining,great and charismatic Star cast,fantastic graphics and a semi-decent storyline. People go overboard on TDK series just because it has a known enitity to them in the form of CHristopher Nolan who is known for this complex,mind f*** themes...but really? Yes I liked all 3 Dark knight movies -infact the 2nd movie which for some weird reason is a "super favorite" among posers was good but not a masterpiece by any means.Yes Heath Ledger's performance was fantastic and it was a terrific movie but calling it as a benchmark for comic book movies....You gotta be kidding me. whenever I try to watch that movie a 2nd time in it's entirety I feel it is one big borefest,loses it's uniqueness after the first time,Yeah maybe they have 1 or 2 iconic scenes but you can always youtube them but that's about it. Stop being posers and deriding movies like Avengers. Even disney's beloved Kevin Feige admitted that the TDK triology is the best thing happened to superhero movies. TDK took superhero genre to mainstream, and Marvel, not DC, cashed on it big time. Before TDK, Marvel was staring at the failures like incredible hulk, punisher, blade, electra, ghost rider etc., DC failed to take advantage, instead they made a big mistake on the crappy green lantern movie. Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy is the perfect benchmark a comic book movie should be like-Entertaining,great and charismatic Star cast,fantastic graphics and a semi-decent storyline. He he, even Batman Forever is a huge success when it released. Every comic book magazine and website called Avengers as the most overrated movie, even many of the Marvel comic fans. Many successfull movies, if you make the characters way more dumber than the audience, most likely the movie will be success initially. From Independence day to Avengers to Ra. One, it works very well. Disney's movies are like the bedazzled version of superhero genre. There are more fans for Robert Downey than Iron man, The Hulk was stupid before with Ed norton and eric bana, now he is well liked because of mark ruffallo. And as I said, Disney and Marvel is aint a combo, Disney is treating Marvel as a bankrupt crap, with no respect to the comic books.
