Innocent Pakistanis are paying the price of RADICALIZATION which started back in 1977 by a guy name Zia-Ul Haq who redefined the identity of Pakistan as resistance against "Hindu India," which lead to marginalization of minorities in Pakistan. Also in the 70s, Ahmedis were declared non-muslims which led to greater political clout of the radical religious groups which led to legitimizing Zia's rise to power which lead to introduction of several policies giving birth to Shia-Sunni conflict which led to radical Sunni groups declaring Shia as heretics which gave birth to sectarian wars as we see them today. The sectarian hatred along with mujahideens trained in Pak, who came back fighting from Afg and Kashmir has now infiltrated Pakistan and unleashing hell all over to further their own radical agendas. Pakistan spending billions in training these jihadis, arming them to play proxy war with India instead of spending resources building schools have ensured continued destruction from within for the near future. You can blame others all you want but this was bound to happen when political policies laced with hatred were sown long time ago. Every time someone like you sitting in UK ignores the threat within and decides to blame everything on "OTHERS," you're empowering these jihadis a wee bit more thus ensuring Pak never achieves its peace.

100% true. So many things have been happening in that region and now everything has come home to roost. It all goes back to the COLD WAR ERA THE SOVIET AFGHAN WAR.Those were golden times for Pakistan. They were the favorite ally of USA, full of arms and money from USA they used religion to rally the people of afghan to fight soviets nurtured Taliban and mujaheddin and finally when soviets were kicked out they turned their attention to Kashmir. India was in doldrums at that time weak central leadership, discord between Hindu and Muslim , babri masjid. They took advantage of the unrest and bad govt in Kashmir and the rest is history. Now the thing is all those militant outfits have become independent and no longer take orders from Pakistan. Even then Pakistan would not have been in a bad state if 9/11 did not happen well it did happen and those militants realized that Pakistan is the enemy for it's support to kafir countries like USA and UK and along the way they also found new enemies among their own people shias, ahmedis and other kafirs. The thing is innocent pakistanis die and it is very painful to watch. It could easily flow over into india and hence we need a stable pakistan .
