You have to assess whether you actually need a projector and how are you going to use it. If you are going to watch movies and TV shows, please don't buy projectors. Projectors are priced by lens output/brightness lumens and the lamp life. A 1 lakh rs projector with a good brightness will have a lamp life around 4000 hrs. 500$ projectors will either have good brightness with less life or lower brightness/resolution with high lamp life. Please buy one which has atleast 30000 hrs of lamp life if you are gonna watch movies. InFocus IN1146 is a good option imo.
