Semi Old ball and Aaron

Some bowlers are great with the new ball and some bowlers find it hard to control the seam of a brand new ball which it is in first 6-8 over. A bowler finds it hard to bowl his fastest with the fresh new ball and hence I think Varun aaron is the one who can be our perfect third seamer. He is bowling great right now with a semi old ball. It is hard for him to have such control with his high pace with a brand new ball. If you have bowled fast for a fair bit of time in your life then you would know what I am talking about. Varun probably finds it hard or probably isn't gong to be as great an opening bowler as he would be as first change when he comes into attack when shine and manufacturer's name is about to fade away on the ball.

Looks like he better with the semi old ball. Sometimes, new ball can be slippery for some bowlers and dont get the best grip.

Gabba is one of the fastest right now probably better than Perth recently for bowlers. Aaron first change coming around 12th over will be great at Brissbane.

Also, he has created multiple wicket taking opportunities today. Bowled much better today. Why not drop Shami for Yadav. Shami is all over the place even today.

I won't mind same pace attack with Ashwincoming in for Karn Sharma. Shami has to play since he seems to be the better one among all other seamers. Umesh can be swapped with Ishant but Shami and Aaron are must for Gabba

No, Ishant will do well at Gabba. He is the most accurate. Cannot have too many bowlers leaking runs.
