This has been happening in every overseas series. In this series it is coming out to light because we are keeping a count.

MCGGG Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 On first glance I would've paid Watson's LBW yesterday, looked out, I remember a test series in India 12 years or so ago where all the Indian bowlers had to do was appeal to get an Australian wkt, swings and roundabouts people, stop playing the victim, you were offered DRS and you refused, end thread.

When the ball is pitched short, as an umpire you have to be extremely sure that it is not going to bounce over the stumps to uphold an LBW appeal. This decision was similar to the way Tendulkar was once given out in a Test in Aus when he ducked and was hit on the helmet. In both cases, ball was going to comfortably bounce over the stumps. You have to also question the timing of all the wrong decisions against India. In Adelaide in the second innings when Rahane was wrongly given out, India were on route to achieving a historic chase. Yesterday, when Rahane was again wrongly given out, India were dominating proceedings and on track to post a big total. It looks like Australians have been successful in intimidating umpires into giving wrong decisions when they need them the most. An overwhelming majority of decisions have gone against India.

Im not saying you guys haven't copped the short end, I remember you got absolutely reamed last time (or the time before) you were out here, cost you the series IMO, but it's not like we haven't been on the receiving end on your home turf either, who ever decided against DRS needs to be replaced.

They like to finger India a lot but forgets that they earn their generous salary due to India. I am here saying that just give correct decisions. 10+ wrong calls (not 50-50 types) on a away tour...nearly all at crucial times have hurt this team badly. I am just hoping that once India home series starts...these AHOLES umpires...finally make it even by giving atleast 10+ decision in Indian favor.

It's the reason DRS was introduced in the first place, a team refuses to use it and then whinges about poor desicions, you couldn't make this **** up. Could it be your powers that be want to keep the cushy umpiring ride you guys get at home? DRS would eliminate that after all.
