Don't think DRS has to become perfect before it can be used. All you need to do is to verify whether the ratio of correct decisions with DRS to correct decisions without DRS exceeds 1. I am sure that is easily true.

Well you see, if you have the DRS, you cant cry wolf about unfair decisions. Since the DRS, being a unbiased algorithm will equally be fair and unfair to all teams. But BCCI dont want none of that, They want to be able to whine each chance they get and bully umpires with the threat of retirement.

If India go with DRS to resolve these decisions, they will be screwed as the Third umpire will stick to the decision of the on-field umpires in these cases... DRS is to resolve howlers, the decisions like Dhawan, Rahane or Warner.... even Kohli's lbw to an extent... I think we need to go back to using at least Hotspot like we did in 2011.... But only after ICC prioritize the factors that the 3rd umpire should take into consideration while reviewing such decisions... Hawkeye is questionable, as the projection of trajectory of the ball after hitting the pad is always dubious.... For LBW decisions, DRS should primarily be used to check for : balls pitching outside leg, striking batsman outside the line of the stumps, and inside edges... Whether the ball will go on to hit the stumps or not should be left for the umpires to take a call
