BeautifulGame Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Was just watching SSHD1 and Ganguly picked his 15 for the world which is going to be announced tomorrow His 15 was Dhawan Rahane Vijay (Spare opener) Rohit (@ 3) Kohli Raina Dhoni Rayadu (Back up WK & Middle order Bat) Jadeja and Ashwin as spinners And 5 seamers in Bhuvi Shami Yadav (First choice) Ishant and Kulkarni (ahead of Aaron) Anyway do u agree with this. I think mostly agree with this apart from Kulkarni ahead of Aaron and Rohit at 3 Gavaskar's 15 for the world cup Dhawan Rohit Rahane Kohli Raina Dhoni Rayadu Jadeja Ashwin Axar Seamers Bhuvi Yadav Shami Mohit and Binny Thank God Sunny is no where near the selection committee Will see anyone get all 15 players 100% correct

If Axar does well, I'll pull out one of Dhawan or Vijay (whoever does poorly) from the WC squad citing injury and get Axar into the squad instead :haha:

Actually surprised that he dint pick Kulkarni. For some reason he rates him quite highly :((

For some reason he rates him quite highly :(( He did well in A team tri series in Australia. Who else are the options ? Varun Aaron is a spray gun and he will prove to be very expensive in ODIs.

As much as i hate Ishant, I'll rather have him than Mohit Sharma. Don't see any spark in Mohit nor does he have any noteworthy performance in internationals.
