vishalvirsingh Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 This guy has a good defence... If he improves his pace bowling a bit..He will be the test pace all rounder we need. As of now his bowling is below par. His batting meets the expectations and he needs to improver his bowling.

Vijy Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Bhuvi should be batting at 7 or 8. No. 9 is too low for him. He has a correct technique and very good temperament too; better than Ashwin in the latter although Ash has a wider range of strokes. His bowling is okay, but he'll always be found out on pitches that don't have some assistance. If India goes with a 5 bowler attack, he is a must. For a 4 bowler attack, not sure - his bowling currently isn't penetrative enouh.

Some people :blink: His record in India was also quite poor; not much point in saying SC don't help pacers since Shami and Yadav have good records there.

In indians conditions or even Australian he has not even created chances to get batsman out. He tries to bowl defensively too most often on flat tracks and that's why dhoni didn't wanna play him. Had it been ANY OTHER Indian pacer they would have given away far more runs and Australia would have declared yesterday itself!! Yadav in this game has given away 137 runs in 27 overs in the 1st innings and 45 runs of 3 overs in the 2nd one. Every other Indian pacer out there is a spray gun!! Also had BK not batted the way he did, this series would have been 3-0.
