STFU midget and beat us in ODI series first.
Whether they beat you in the ODI series, world cup or not is irrelevant. They won the test series and that is all that matters.

And how on earth doesn't beating them in a WC game doesn't matter? Nonsense!

I am not feeling bad that he doesnt consider India as one of the contenders.. but feeling bad cuz he doesnt consider NZ a strong team.. Kiwi bowling and fielding is better than any team..

My point being, none of it matters. Someone once asked me what I would prefer winning the WC or winning a test series in the home of the best side at that time. I didn't hesistate or think twice before I said beat Aus in Aus. Any mickey mouse team can win a world cup, SL in 96, India in 83 and Pak in 92 are prime examples. The conditions definitely helped India win in 2011 and they were a pretty average team then. But never can you say the best team didn't win the test series. So whatever Warner says, whatever India or Indians fans say, it's all irrelevant. Every one should be focusing on the bigger picture, winning Test series.

I just wish people could appreciate that both formats of the game are different, they are different games, test match cricket is my true love, but, winning 3 WCs in a row is probably the proudest cricketing moment of my life.

The best bowlers are restricted to 10/4 overs, no restrictions on the batsmen. The small boundaries, flat tracks etc mean that it's not cricket at all, it's batsmen heaving away against mediocre bowlers who get nothing from the wicket. Some of the garbage that we see in the middle overs from part from trundlers is enough to make you want to rip your hair out. Notice how the truly great players are always judged on their test record.

Horses for courses mate, cricket has 3 faces now, some very good test match players have struggled in ODIs, just appreciate each form of the game for what it is IMO, although I haven't really taken to T20 yet, not sure I ever will TBH, but 50 over cricket I love.

Exactly. Tennis is a 3 surfaces game and there is no point in holding serve-and-volley on grass as the gold standard. Baseline sluggers are as much tennis players as the ODI/T20 sloggers are cricket batsmen.
