Any updates? don't u guys think that shardul and Varun aroon are the best replacements to ishant and BHuvi -if in case they fly back. Mohit is looking good but still I would prefer an inform shardul Thakur ahead of Mohit Sharma and Varun is exceptional always ...bhuvi seems to surely be ready to pack his bags to fly as if bhuvi is not at his best- its better he flies back. is shammi too injured ?? if he is also required to fly back then shardul varun aroon and mohit sharma should be the replacements. Jadeja should be replaced by a Uthappa or a rishi dhawan.

Jaddu will be tough to replace, I guess Yuvraj has an outside chance. Rohit will be a huge blow given Dhawan is struggling but vijay is the obvious choice.

MK55 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 At the most there might be a single replacement due to injuries among the bowers and Mohit Sharma might get his chance. However, if 2 bowlers are to be replaced, I cant fathom why Dhaval Kulkarni is preferred by the selectors. He only ended up picking some low order wickets during the Sri Lanka ODI's when the batsmen went after his innocuous bowling.

vishalvirsingh Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Yes - 100 % Fitness and looking very strong...- that feel comes to a guy when he runs for 8 to 10 km Jog. to do a 3 km to 4 km also could mean being fit..but its not the fitness to PLAY an International match and that too a world cup match. Fielding is directly proportional to fitness... a 100 % fit ishant is also a liability on the field and if he is 75% fit - he would become a MUNAF then..when it comes to fielding. I guess Umesh among pacers is the best fielder. it seems bhuvi is definitely not getting his due of Milk and diet as he is one guy who is consistently slowing down ....I am really concerned about him.
