Currently Pakistan has a pacer opening the bowling and bowling at 130-140 and then when you see India they're opening bowlers are bowling at 140+. Looks like India finally have balanced side that doesn't have to rely on the batsmen.

We are still trying.We have 2-3 bowlers who can bowl 140+.There are 1-2 bowlers in domestics who can do that so pace wise it looks good.But its only one of the 3 legs of fast bowling,the others being Movement and Accuracy.

Accurate bowling at pace is our weakness. In this world cup, as well as the SL ODI series before the Aussie tour, we combined pace, accuracy and movement. The results have been spectacular. Dhoni has said in today's pre match interview that the pacers are learning that it is important to focus on bowling at the right areas instead of picking up wickets. This approach would actually bring wickets.

I have seen this happening in other games as well I have have seen this often in this WC too. The speed summary often does not include the fastest deliveries shown earlier.

express bowling Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 performance till now Excellent averages, economy rates and wickets per match by all frontline bowlers. Shami the best as usual in ODIs. Average of 11 and 3 wickets per match are really good.
