They needed someone so talented to face off against the likes of Akram, Waqar, Akhtar, Imran, Qadir etc.+++++also the key is not to play in Sharjah or UAE.Bloody jinxed venue for India.

This bowling attack is so pathetic that even the lesser teams would have a shot at beating them if they can handle irfan's first 2 overs because after that he becomes a puffing machine without any control. Until the last decade, the pakistan team could rightly consider themselves as an ultra talented group that could beat any team on a given day if they clicked imo... but this current lot seems like the west indies teams of the recent past.... very sad state of affairs for them. As for our team, it is great that we won another WC game against them but i really hope that our bowling effort was for real and can continue in this vain throughout the tourney because that was the biggest surprise for me. I dont feel sorry for Pakis.They thrashed us for 15 years in Sharjah. Did they feel sorry for India then.Even now they say its 72-50 out of those the majority came in that matchfixing Sharjah stadium.

It was more so a comment on the 'rivalry' because it just doesn't seem like much of a rivalry these days. All the pakistan 'experts' and fans make tall claims before such games and their team folds timidly when it comes to on-field play... So it is better to let the on-field play do the talking rather than hype yourself up imho.
