Apparently the Govt department has been elevated to the level of a ministry :facepalm: Meanwhile Swine Flu rages on in parts of the country . Maybe there is some naturopathy or homeopathic treatment for H1N1 .. Is there so much interest on Indian budget in Pakistan ?

Having been stationed in India as ISI regional vice-president , i developed an avid interest in Indian culture, economics and current affairs .Though it has been a struggle to acquire the level of delusional reverence that people like you have for their political masters. Did you know there is now a separate Ministry for Ayurveda , Unani , Siddha and Homeopathy ( AYUSH )? Did you know about the dip in funding for healthcare in the Budget ? Or the health minister's statement about a shortage of swine flu testing Labs while there is an increase in funding for AYUSH ? Of course you did not know.

Nothing on direct tax. Corporate tax also to reduced over 3 years which means nothing. No road map for GST. Committees set up for ease of business. Again means nothing. Only good point was emphasis on spending in infrastructure. Again no plan in how to finance this. Very disappointed. Really lacking ideas.
