CSK Fan Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Is it me or are tamilians very susceptible to worship people in power? Velu calls me a bhakt but the the way he fawns over Srini or Apple (as if Apple gives him one cent for every dollar they earn) has me worried. Money and power makes them behave like slaves sometimes. And it is more than one person I have seen in life and online.

Seriously? I have heard this anecdote from one friend who lives close to his place in Chennai. Roads were blocked as Jayalalitha's convoy was about to pass. Rajnikanth was driving and was stopped. He just came out of his car and stood. In a minute there were thousands gathered to see him. The police immediately lifted the blockade and let him leave.
