Not just me, it appears as if many in Ind are in a hole - with goons spreading hatred and violence (even online :P ). It would be nice to be the tool that steps on the tails of such goons and helps the country to come out of this hole :--D

However, an eye for an eye eventually turns the whole world blind A brutal retaliation (or whatever BJP/RSS would like to term it) only puts BJP/RSS in the same league it is fighting against. Justification for violence brings in concepts such as "One person's terrorist = other person's freedom fighter," and therefore even the Naxalites can justify violence If the situation is deteriorating in the region, the center should step in and take appropriate action :nice:

But people need to be able to distinguish between killing of journalists/ free speech advocates/ ordinary citizens from political murders. Political murders don't just happen in Kerala. They happen all over India. Are such incidents condemnable? Of course they are. Are the victims always innocent? Errrrr.... Maybe not. Is this tit-for-tat right? Of course not. However, political crime should not be equated with crime committed against ordinary citizens or independent free speech activists just to prove that "the other side also responds back" which is all this thread is about.
