Yup too many no balls not given, even the commies were surprised.many over the head wides not given,Taylor was out early ,not given umpiring was pedestrian level

To be fair, Pak deserved to win here with good bowling and some poor batting by Zimbabwe..But nevertheless poor umpiring. ps: I think Mire didnt get out on freehit ball, but very next ball.

36.3 was the no ball and he got out on next delivery.. Zimboks would have lost anyway but this was pathetic umpiring :headshake:

Wonder how many they missed. It is logical to consciously look for noballs even more carefully when a 7 feet bowler is bowling. Also they should have been stringent with wides from such bowlers as it is highly likely he could bowl more wides. ICC better fix it..

And few wides were also not given . Pak obviously played better against an equally matched opponent But it is sad to see a minnow getting rough decisions from the Umpires.

Yes ' date=' Steve Bucknor and Mike Deness would agree.[/quote'] Clearly you don't know what I'm talking about. Your lot whined about Khatmal dismissal even when it wouldn't have made a difference. Same way here it may not have made much difference in the end.

ICC wants to favour big teams for the QF. Zimbabwe in QF would make them less money. And they know Zimbabwe is not going to raise hue and cry over this.

I seriously doubt that has anything to do with these decisions...

I wouldn't be surprised if there was tremendous spot fixing in this match. Misbah's running was atrocious with him turning down some ridiculously easy singles and 2s with his partner basically having run halfway down the pitch and turning around and strolling back to his crease safely. I guess Misbah realized his career is probably over after this WC anyways, so he'd might as well make some money out of it

I think they knew about attempted spot fixing happening in the match so umpires were asked to ignore all no-balls
