I must say I rated them as joint favourites for this world cup with NZ as close second.But performances like today's really belie my confidence in their abilities.And its not an anamoly as well, margin of defeat against India was even bigger. De kock has played his last game for this world cup I reckon & its time they play all 4 seamers along with Tahir.Their underbelly of lack of a quality 5th bowler was brutally exposed today. But can they change the trend of knock out disappointments this time or will the choke factor take the centre stage again?

They are bloody disappointing. At the start of world cup they were my second choice to win world cup behind India and my first bet to win world cup. But they have been frustrating. If they couldn't put this poor Pakistan team aside, they can't do anything. They would always remain without any major trophy . They just don't have in them to do well in major tournaments. bunch of chokers.

their top 6 has been always inflated. do ppl even know cronje avearged in th 30's in tests? it was "nothing great" ten years ago. today its at best good. but I would back a strong attack to thrash them and no one except abdv can stand up. this world cup they are lacking in experience a little in batting. still got enough in the top 3 bowling to cause some damage. all teams at the moment are vulnerable in one area or the other

saffrs cant win world cup if they perform like this

If they bat second, they don't look like being able to chase 200. If they get to bat first, they may not choke and put on a 300+ score and seal the game. They may get lucky in the QF but I don't see them going past SF.
