Gambit Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 lol.. is that real ?? :hysterical::hysterical: shame on england if they agreed for such series http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/series/60964.html :giggle:
keith Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I do think it's unfair for England and Australia to have a booked 5 test series every 2 years. Sure it's commercially viable now but it would be more interesting to play other teams. Australia and England barely play anyone but each other and England.
cowboysfan Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 the aussies should play the kiwis more, its a shame they treat them as though they have leprosy.
addicted4444 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/series/60964.html :giggle: That Australia A side was pretty incredible though. Every batsman had a top notch career. Bevan was playing backup in some games.
brendan07 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 the aussies should play the kiwis more' date='its a shame they treat them as though they have leprosy.[/quote'] To be fair NZ have been awful at test cricket until recently.

Crookbond Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Does anyone remember a tri-series in Australia in the 1990s where the three teams were Australia' date=' England and Australia A? Guess who the finalists were. :hysterical:[/quote'] The A team matches were unofficial ODI matches and the finals was also an unofficial match between Australia and Australia A. The most ridiculous part was the the players from the A team was swapped with the Australia main team during the tournament! In the final, Paul Reiffel played for Australia main team when the entire tournament he played for Australia A and was their best bowler. 8MoC1XO2WaY
