Government has to ensure that the ban of beef does not increase the price of mutton & chicken.

Those kind of laws should be based on principles not based on religion. In the United states a muslim cannot have multiple wives (may be in Utha) legally. Mormons do have in states like Utha. But Illegally muslims have multiple wive in the US. There was an article on it why Muslims don't care about legalization of polygamy in the US. Because women follow the Qran which states men can have upto 4 wives and accept it . They don't go to court over this.[/quote'] WTF is Utha? :giggle: BTW, the Mormon Church in Utah banned the practice of polygamy more than 100 years back and it is not legal to be in plural marriage. However, fundamentalist factions still continue to practice it secretly or sometimes openly (and sometimes get arrested).
