Do we have a mental block against Aussies since we haven't been able to win against them in this tour?

Their bowling without Starc is average, but definitely not what you portray it to be. Faulkner is not why their batting line up is consistent... In recent times Faulkner doesn't even get many opportunities to bat because he comes down the order.
I am talking about the real thorn in the flesh faulkner for India. He has cost us quite a few matches unlike the maxies, watson and the clarkes.

Actually I think India has some psychological scars except for Kohli. After being beaten several times by Australia, it does make a difference. Look at how England felt after the Ashes in 89 and the Ashes in 13/14 or how Pakistan could never beat India in a WC. These things even though it does seem petty makes a massive difference in sports.

We were tensed even before QF in 2011 against them but we did come out on top ending Aussie campaign. Yes those were our conditions but my point is there is no mental block at all.

3 times over 4 months....there is a difference between 2-0 and 5-0 India did draw at the SCG.

But no win. That's the thing. Wins really do matter psychologically in any sport.

and we have won 7 consecutive matches and bowled out the opposition 7 times ... it does matter, I'd agree!
