Do we have a mental block against Aussies since we haven't been able to win against them in this tour?

I dont think we have a mental block ...Thats the strength of this team...they have huge confidence in themselves and back them selves to be the best team..Past teams used to look at Aussies with awe ...Not this team under MSD..

Honestly what is the fuss about? We lost 2 tests, 1 ODI and a meaningless warm up. And we competed well in all 4 tests and the ODI. Aussies fared much worse when they toured here. No mental block, it just so happens that they are better than our team in their conditions but we have lifted our performance in the CWC and the gap is much closer now. 55-45 in favor of Aus now I feel.

I am going to forgive the ODIs as they were doing some tinkering. In Tests we lacked resource to take their wickets. Also our tail sucked balls with bat. Our tailenders have to improve how to survive

We almost beat AUS in that ODI where faulkner and haddin finished the game. Dhoni's tactics have stepped up and everyone is doing their bit. This indian side on current form can beat the aussies
Michael slater echoed the same thing during Pak vs OZ match. "Australia will face a very different ODI side in the semi final not the one they faced all season"

About the OP.. it is not just because of our loss.. It is just that Australia has such an amazing balance. They bat deep. They field brilliantly. They run well. They have genuine quick bowlers. They have absolute beasts at the top, They have great finishers. Compare their finishing ability with ours. It is a joke. Against Pakistan we made like 27 runs in the last 5 overs. Against SA we made like 30 runs in the last 5. Thanks to the presence of all rounders they don't have a long tail which we have.

Even fans seems to have given up hope. I hate to see this.
Dont take some of these messages too literally. Currently we have the "anti-jinx" bug going around where posters write the exact opposite of what they want to happen and refrain from writing anything positive because they think it might work as a jinx. The whole thing baffles me.

I dont see that we have a mental block but they are better bowling attack and our power is primarily batting so Aussies are the favourites. Doesnt mean we cant beat them but if see it as 35/65 in favor of Aussies. This isnt mental block, this is the reality.

Fine fielding. The former is the one that really makes the difference.

Kya mental block? ODIs are different. We are playing at SCG. We have a settled side. We have done well. Our team is relaxed. And we have also had some testing few games albeit against lesser sides. I can't wait for the 26th :yay: It will be a proper contest.

India can defend 300 with couple of good spinners at SCG. Show respect to Starc and ensure Watson/Faulkner/5th bowler go for plenty. If India wins toss, I give them 30-70 odds but if India loses toss, well I don't want to get depressed right now.
