Vijy
Mayank Agarwal appears to be a genuine slogger, based on his SR. Link to comment
Vijy
I've always wondered about Ashish Reddy - has the right List A stats to be a potential No.7 Link to comment
ThePhenomenal1
Binny can hit big to an extent, haven't seen dhoni middle it like he used to in ages, need kohli to hit big as well. Dhawan has started hitting sixes now as well, rohit we know. Just a matter of them staying at the wicket Jadeja has done little batting wise. Link to comment

Vijy
82 sr is pretty ok. Can improve with experience. Also manor tiwary should be given a run after World Cup. He scored a century in his last odi' date=' although hes not really a slogger[/quote'] Although Che Pu's SR in List A is unavailable, it's prob about the same. A SR in the low 80s on our pattas is not promising. I think our batting, except for Rahane, is quite stable. What we need is someone like Corianderson or Maxi at 6 or 7, who can score at 125+ SR consistently. Most teams have such players now: NZ - Corianderson, Ronchi; Aus - Maxi, Faulkner; SA - Miller, ABDV (who bats higher up) Even Eng have Buttler. Link to comment
P.B.
IPL starts in three weeks, can't wait for it. You guys will probably find one from there. Link to comment
rahulrulezz
K Jadhav. Only guy who has almost 100 strike rate with an average close to 50. The most consistent agressive batsman in domestic. Link to comment

Vijy
We don't have anybody like that currently and don't think we will for quite some time. Yusuf bhai had done quite well for 1-2 series, but since then, we have a really poor 7 and 8, i.e. their avgs are good but they simply can't accelerate. It leaves too much pressure on a declining Dhobi. I think that Dhobi should play at 5, and our most aggressive batsman (in terms of SR) Raina should play at 6. This will give Dhobi some time to settle and go for his shots. Raina's SR of 94 is the highest in the team. As others have mentioned, Jadhav combines a very good avg with very good SR.
