I saw sky sports coverage and Jack Kallis really looked sad. He has gone through it before and you can feel it. We just have to realize that we used to be in similar situations before 2011. I used to feel extremely sad until we had won the world cup. It wasn't too long ago that. Since that world cup win, we have lost a lot of tournaments and got knocked out too with some bad luck, but the feeling of still being defending champions has made some difference definitely. They defeated all their opponents including mighty Pakistan of that time in Pakistan .Even after WC when they came in Sharjah and they won 4 group matches against India and Pakistan and final against India http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1996_Pepsi_Sharjah_Cup This is a great achievement for a team beating both India and Pakistan on not so pace friendly wickets of Sharjah.

OP well there's another way you can look at it that won't make you sad :nice: 1. Somebody has to win, for India to win SA has to lose at some point 2. They are rivals, they are not your team, them not being strong is a great thing. Never feel sorry for a rival, next thing you know they can be winning against you.
