The 'Aane do' add failed and so did the one before the Asia cup.

Do you even know the purpose of this advertisements? It is to promote World Cup.. to create a buzz.. to get more and more eye balls. They were highly successful in doing that. It was to energize Indians... (not pakis) These ads were not meant to win Cups for India team. In all likelihood, Star TV must be thanking pakis for generating more buzz...

Some Pakistani pundits didn't like what Sohaib did then and was criticizing him. But we aren't Pakistan. So Chillax :nice: As far as Mauka ad is concerned, its for world to see what wonders it made. It is much better. we even collect them from other countries ( eg Tibet,SL,BD etc). We do not have blasphemy laws in India and listen to what Indian Muslim leaders have to say, they are part of the chaotic vibrant indian democracy and if you do not see it then pak will not get better at being secular. There is a saying in India roughly equated to "a pet snake will eventually bite the hand that feeds it " this is what is happening in Syria, a fundamentalist is fundamentally that a fundamentalist, eventually he would say all except him are fundamentally wrong and should so be hallaled. Besides Indian minorities are growing faster than rest, Paksitani minorities are nullified. Dont take Hindu's lets talk Ahamedias, we love them here in India. Anyways different thread different discussion, no more on this from me here.

I dont think Indians really care either way. When the ads dont work there is Euphoria in Dhaka and Karachi...when the ads work there is sour grapes. Indian government should hire Star TV as propaganda minister since its apparently do that job. :giggle:

So if it is star sports embarrassing themselves then why did you use India in the previous sports Secondly do you have any idea how marketing and real life works? You sound like a little kid. Star sports wanted to create hype and have more people watch. They succeeded. How is it "embarrassing" themselves when one team or the other wins? Star Sports made a load of money like they wanted to.
