MK55
2 Excellent wicket taking deliveries by Yadav in the opening over. Pace wise around 149k in the first over. Full with some seam movement.
rkt.india
Yadav on fire. Bowling brilliant off cutters at high pace. Bowled Warner and Ojha in his first over. Bowled a good bouncing leg cutter too. Those weren't offcutters but inswingers.
Yamaha
Those weren't offcutters but inswingers. I thought they hit the deck and seamed in, not inswing. Damien Fleming in the comm box also said the same.

express bowling
All the Indian pacers have improved their bouncers in the last one year. Umesh bowled a well directed high bouncer to Warner at pace. It was hooked for 4. But it also pushed Warner back and he did not come forward enough for the next pitched up ball. Ojha was bowled a short of good length bouncing leg cutter just outside the off stump...which he missed. Umesh bowled a pitched up off cutter next ball and bowled him. These dismissals showcase how batsmen can be setup by short balls. Hope Umesh is taking note.
express bowling
Those weren't offcutters but inswingers. No. They were deliberate off cutters. They moved after pitching and off the seam. Not in the air.

rkt.india
No. They were deliberate off cutters. They moved after pitching and off the seam. Not in the air. They were deliberate in swingers that seamed off the pitch, not offcutters. Offcutters are what Kasper and Gillespie bowled in 2004 test series. Fast off cutters in which you use fingers to make them cut.
fineleg
A lot of ifs, but, If only Yadav can sustain this form, and If only Aaron can get accurate, and If only Md.Shami can get his injuries healed and find back form: Yadav + Aaron + Shami + (perhaps Pawan Suyal in Tests, or Sandeep Sharma in LoI )
Ironhide
Umesh Yadav finished the match in the first over itself, That warner ball was unplayable, seaming the ball at 145-150 KPH is difficult for any batsmen in the world.

The confidence shown and chances given by Kohli and Gambhir have helped. Something which was dented badly when MSD did not give him a chance for 11 test matches on the trot. Working with Wasim has been really effective too. So, barring injuries, Umesh should do well from here. Shami has always been a wicket taker in ODIs and tests. The biggest IF is Aaron improving his accuracy. He needs a good coach IMHO.

Yamaha
Here are those wickets by Umesh for those that couldn't watch it live: http://www.iplt20.com/videos/media/id/4215619770001 The delivery to Warner was bowled at 147k, it pitched outside leg and seamed away to take Offstump. The ball to Naman was bowled at 143k and seamed in and uprooted his offstump while beating him for pace. He deservedly got the Man of the Match award for his opening spell. rkt.india
Umesh too used his fingers to make the ball cut in. Damien Fleming was talking about this too in his match commentary. I didn't see that. Ball landed on the seam and moved in the direction of the seam. Those were conventional inswingers which didn't move in the air but off the seam. Well...I got the distinct impression that he was using his fingers to seam the ball ....for atleast 2 to 3 deliveries per over yesterday. The pitch yesterday also did not look that conducive for normal seam movement that distinct.
CG
They were intended inswingers which didn't move in the air but off the pitch. He did try the inswinger .But his wrist was better he always struggles with the inswinger but may be akram helped him.
