Sooda Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Or maybe, it's because: Israel has one of the most advanced and well organized set of defence forces, very much capable of dismantling ISIS on their own. The Jews have an eye for an eye approach. ISIS may not want to seek their wrath. . Absolutely. They will get their backsides handed to them. Plus American strikes against them will intensify x 10
Clarke Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 What surprises me is the relative lack of effort in middle east to eliminate ISIS. It is one group that should be collectively hated by every middle east state and has absolute zero international backing unlike say the Taliban of late 90s. Why can't they put up a coalition of few hundred thousand and come out with their shiny American/European toys to eliminate the group ? Unlike the second Gulf War which left a vacuum of governance in Iraq and contributed to this mess, there is some kind of a leadership currently in Baghdad. It would maybe require half the might that came out against Israel less than half a century back.
