Pakistan to Sell 52 to 100 Super Mushshak Military  training  Aircraft to Turkey

The chairman of the Pakistani Senate’s Standing Committee on Defense, retired Lieutenant General Abdul Qayyum, announced on October 4 that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) will export 100 MFI-395 Super Mushshak military training aircraft to Turkey, according to local media reports.

In 2013, the Turkish Air Force (TAF) announced a requirement for 52 military training aircraft to replace its aging fleet of Italian-made Leonardo light trainers. The deal, once signed, would be PAC’s largest export order in its history. PAC won the competitive bidding process in July 2016.

The Pakistan Ministry of Defense Production and Turkey are currently locked in negotiations and still have not concluded a contract. It is unclear whether the contract will be for 52 or 100 aircraft. It is also uncertain whether other entities in Turkey, besides the TAF, are in need of additional military training aircraft.

Pakistan appears to be close in securing its first international customer for the joint Pakistani-Chinese Pakistan Aeronautical Complex/Chengdu Aerospace Corporation (PAC/CAC) JF-17 Thunder multirole combat aircraft, according to media reports.

Pakistan and Nigeria have allegedly inked a memorandum of understanding for the purchase of an unknown number of JF-17 multirole fighter jets a senior official from Pakistan’s Defense Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) told IHS Jane’s Defense Weekly during the Africa Aerospace and Defense exhibition, held in the second week of September in South Africa.

Quote

The Nanjing Research Institute of Electronics Technology (NRIET) has unveiled a new active electronically-scanned array (AESA) radar at the Zhuhai Air Show, reportedly for use with the JF-17 Block-III.

Designated the KLJ-7A, it appears that NRIET will market the new AESA radar as a replacement to the KLJ-7 and KLJ-7V2 currently onboard the JF-17 Block-I and Block-II, respectively.

Other Proposed AESA Radar is Selex ES (owned by the Italian defence giant Finmeccanica), is one of the competitors for the JF-17 Block-III

^ Thats some achievement for Pakistani Arm manufacturers. Allthough I think its more like Chinese selling them these jets via Pakistan so that they can not be implicated into war crimes commited in Yemen by these Saudi dictators

whoever sells it. PAK gt 58%...

we didnt ask KSA to do war in Yemen. KSA using f-15 for bombing yemen. you should ask this to US. we have nothing to do with that.....

^ Arent you mixing production capability of China and deals made by China and crediting it to Pakistan?

Its JV. whoever wants to buy JF-17 , they have to negotiate with both Parties, and Whoever sells it. Pak will gt 58% of it. Chinese will gt 42%. Simple.
