Sachin=GOD Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Lots of political developments around the world. Discuss all of them here...
Sachin=GOD Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 First up - upcoming elections in UK. Probably going to be the most fractured mandate in many, many decades. Smaller parties like UKIP, SNP, Green Party are expected to get a substantial vote share while Tories & Labor combined will surely get their lowest vote share since WW2.

Sachin=GOD Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 Despite Anti-EU Rhetoric, Election Shows U.K.’s Continental Drift http://www.worldpoliticsreview.com/articles/15539/despite-anti-eu-rhetoric-election-shows-u-k-s-continental-drift# The making of Ed Miliband For five years, the Labour leader has struggled to forge an identity that could win over his own party and a sceptical public. Will the bruising journey prove to be the making of a prime minister? http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/apr/15/the-making-of-ed-miliband
Sachin=GOD Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 Interesting thing - Obama Campaign's Chief Advisor David Axelrod is advising Ed Miliband while another advisor Jim Messina is advising David Cameron (Messina is also Chairman of Priorities USA Super PAC - supporting Hillary Clinton) - so its a battle within the election battle for these 2 who fell our during Obama's 2012 campaign.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 David Cameron has stolen the Labour Party's soul http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/general-election-2015/11535343/David-Cameron-has-stolen-the-Labour-Partys-soul.html?utm_content=buffer884d1&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer I'm no expert on British politics but from what I've seen/read, Ed Miliband just doesn't look like a leader :hmmm:

BeautifulGame Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 How sleepy Finland could tear apart the euro project http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11541657/How-sleepy-Finland-could-tear-apart-the-euro-project.html Finland going to polls today .
G_B_ Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 The euro would be Finnished, anyways i would not necessarily believe the Telegraph on this. They are an anti EU paper.
G_B_ Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 anyways talked to a good friend of mine in the states. As per him Hillary- Webb democratic nomination. Hillary from north east and jim webb from the south bring in women and white working class males. vs Jeb Bush-Rubio both catholic. Both from the same state, but its the politically important one of Florida. Rubio to attract latino vote. Bush to attract the traditional republican vote. those were his thoughts.... do they have any takers?

Sachin=GOD Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 UK elections in a few hours. Labor-SNP Govt likely?
G_B_ Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 as per the latest odds it will need to be a 3 party government
G_B_ Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 UK election highlights Conservatives forecast to increase lead and govern on their own or with smaller parties. Labour wiped out in Scotland by the SNP who win 52/59 seats being the highlight of a poor performance. The liberal democrats the other party in government wiped out. Won 57 last election won 6 currently.
diga Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 ^ Is it the trend of the day that a lot of nationalistic parties are winning the mandate than left- liberal parties?
