renjith Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 These are the youngsters I found promising. Share your thoughts as well. Saran didn;t have a good debut. But I think he has the attributes to be a good international level bowler. On the other side mandeep singh and anureet singh had few good performances, but doesn;t look India prospects for me. Seamer Sandeep Sharma Barinder Saran Sreenath Arvind Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal Jagadeesha Suchith Batsman Shreyas Iyer Sarfaraz Khan Allrounder Hardik Pandya
tweaker Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Shreyas Iyer & Hardik Pandya are the most promising find of this Ipl.Shreyas Iyer is hard hitting batsman & Pandya is fast bowling allrounder.Pandya can bowl at 140+ kmph speed, but he has lot to learn in bowling department.Pandya can be our Andre Russel in T20 in future
Debutant Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 With increment in pace, I have been pretty impressed with Sandeep Sharma. India do need a guy who can be a lower order hitter and can bowl with some pace, so Pandya should be persisted. For some reason, I did not like the batting of Iyer. Hope he has a successful international career and proves me wrong. Don't have high hopes from anybody else
tweaker Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Pandya should perform for his home state Boroda in this Ranji season After his exploits in Ipl,Ian very eager to see him perform in domestic cricket.Shreyas Iyer had a very good Ranji season for Mumbai this year & hope he is highest scorer this season
tweaker Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Kuldeep Yadav could have been the the promising spinner in this IPL,but unfortunately he didnt get any game
BlackMamba Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Except for Shreyas Iyer -- who also remains to be seen and hopefully is not a one season wonder, everyody else is -- just like the gazillion other IPLers who we all salivated upon -- will be aaya ram and gaaya rams.
renjith Posted May 27, 2015 Author Posted May 27, 2015 One thing about pandya is his action is not so good and his body is not aligned at the time of release. If a good coach can get his action right, he would be able to bowl with more pace.
vvvslaxman Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Sarfraz brings something old style back. Very wristy . Not sure how he will fare on bouncy pitches. He will turn out to be a gun on low bounce pitches.
Ironhide Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Kuldeep Yadav could have been the the promising spinner in this IPL' date='but unfortunately he didnt get any game[/quote'] The only plus point was that he was getting good coaching and advise from the veteran chinaman that is Brad Hogg, Kuldeep was always seen with Hogg even during flights etc and Hogg was tweeting about him, posting photos with him and said that Kuldeep will represent India in future.
flamy Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Sandeep Sharma. Very impressed. He actually spearheaded Punjab. Shreyas Iyer. Another important cog for a low-performing team. Others have flattered to deceive.
jf1gp_1 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Obviously Pandya is the guy whom everyone will keep and eye on just because he is that rare seaming alrounder. Let's see how he does in coming yrs.
TheWall Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Hanuma bihari and veer pratap too :hysterical: which planet are they from?????
shibnarayan Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 :hysterical: which planet are they from????? Yes few things belongs to this planet beyond our choice...:two_thumbs_up:
HippoSucks Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I can see Hardik Pandya playing for India in T20s and ODIs after a few years. Good lower order batsman but needs to work on his bowling a lot. He has pace but nothing else.
