As long as the hair are tied, it should be ok as can be seen below: ^ Pargat Singh and many other Sikhs don't wear turbans when playing hockey (in public) :dontknow: ^ However, the above (Bhajji) probably did create controversy as the hair are not tied at all
Shivaji bhonsle Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 This is not new from Sardars. Sikh soldiers gave away their turbans to Bangladeshi women who were raped and abused by Pakistanis in 1971 war. Sikhism allows them to remove turbans in such occasions.
