Since Srinivasan is out of bcci, hopefully our new bcci president gets a new bunch of selectors who can select the team without any bias. Zimbabwean tour should be ideal to test lot of youngsters.

Dhawal, rayadu, jadu, Rahane, heck even dhoni is past it's prime.

someone Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Jadeja certainly needs to be thrown out. There are many SLAs who are similar to him, but he gets the edge due to his supposely superior batting. But the stats show he has failed to live-up as a no.7 batsman. Even, Ojha is better than him.

zen Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I just looked at the squad list: There is only one fast bowler - Yadav .... And a bunch of trundlers - BK, Mohit and Kulkarni. There is Binny who is also an trundler Shami is not available but at least the selectors (or the captain should have insisted) could have picked variety by having bowlers such as Nehra. Aaron could go for runs but could have been an useful option to try to create opportunities to pick up wkts .... And may be an attacking leg-spinner option to support Ashwin could have helped

horizonspeaks Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 We need a proper leg spinner in our team - it could be oldies like Amit/Piyush or a new face. Drop Jadeja bring Kuldeep Yadav - better invest on youth.
