DilSePakistani Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Bowling wins u test matches ... unsurprisingly that we are the mozt successful test team in Asia ... Hopefully we can win couple of test matches when we tour Eng and Aus next year Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Autonomous Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 LOL what? Rahane is a better than any test batsman Pak produced in last decade. Only reason Pak is doing ok in test cricket because they only play in Asia. Last time they tour overseas, they visited SA and lost 3-0 including 49 all out. Drawn the series 1 - 1 in West Indies and drawn 1-1 in Zimbabwe :cantstop: Go and give this gyan to someone else. Have seen enough of Pak cricket and the team consists of only amateur hacks. The series u mentioned were played 2 years back

Deluded Indian. Rahane has barely played 15 Tests and stats dont agree with what you say. Even Shehzad has better average than Rahane
Austin 3:!6 Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Deluded Indian. Rahane has barely played 15 Tests and stats dont agree with what you say. Even Shehzad has better average than Rahane Rahane is greater than all Pak batsman and only 2nd to Miandad. :vroam:
Malcolm Merlyn Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 The great Pakistani test team has won 1 test series in last 3 years despite playing only 2 series outside Asia. They couldnt even beat Zimbabwe.

Guldozer Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 The great Pakistani test team has won 1 test series in last 3 years despite playing only 2 series outside Asia. They couldnt even beat Zimbabwe. I seriously doubt that you are a doctor.
Autonomous Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I seriously doubt that you are a doctor. Its common with indian posters here. Logic less, biased and deluded
bones Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 More ODI titles or more test wins? I think I'll take the test wins. I think WI, Eng and Aus fans would snap up the opportunity to have a better Test record. Anyone can win ODIs and T20s, any one can win world cups. India in 83, Aus in 87, Paki in 92, SL in 96, all of these team were good (not great), they definitely weren't the best team at that time and they won. But in tests, you rarely get the better team losing. So 2 WCs or a superior test record? Superior test record all the way. No question about it for me.
bones Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 As for the record, there is daylight between Pakistan and India. Some Indian fans are trying to deny the overwhelming superiority in this format over the years, the stats don't lie. Pakistan are still managing to churn out big wins not playing at home. UAE is not Pakistan! It is not a home series, but it's a 2nd home away from their real home.
adi B Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Currently in tests : Pak >> India Currently in ODI's : India > Pak I think we would beat you anywhere in test matches. There is no contest. After a long time we have a team with a solid batting line up. Almost all of the top 7 averages 40+. Are you that deluded to not recognize those avgs are bloatedbecause of playing on sc pitches intthe last 2-3 years? Your team has travelled only to saf away from sc in the last 4 years, just wait till they tour aus,England, nzl and see how these batsmen will show their real class. But having said that,I've gotta admire Pakistan's batting at home conditions, they are pretty solid and guys like shafiq, azhar look good

You guys are playing test matches at uae for 4 years now and time to accept it as your second home, the pitches suityou very well

UAE is not Pakistan! It is not a home series, but it's a 2nd home away from their real home. What is home advantage? Being able to prepare pitches as per your team's suitability. Are Pakistan able to do that in UAE? Yes they are. Then what is the difference? Minor factors like having a home crowd is a very small factor in terms of performance. When Pakistan play in UAE, it should be considered as a home series.
HippoSucks Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Deluded Indian. Rahane has barely played 15 Tests and stats dont agree with what you say. Even Shehzad has better average than Rahane How many tests has Shehzad played outside UAE? I think 3 against Sri Lanka, where he has a laughable average. People like you will not hesitate for a second before jumping on someone like Sehwag for being an FTB and having a boosted average due to that. But when it comes to your own players like Shehzad, you do not dwell in to context and just take averages without any consideration. If you seriously think that Shehzad is a more capable test batsman than Rahane because he averages more, then before calling others deluded, you need to look in a mirror yourself. For the next 2 years when Rahane has home tours, his average will soar past Shehzad's. But then you will say that it is because Rahane has played at home, even though Shehzad has done the same so far which you seem to disregard.
zen Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Some great assessments that have come from the Padosis in the past: * Salman Butt is more "talunted" than Sachin * Razzaq is a better all-rounder than Kapil * Miandad is better than Gavaskar * Afridi is better than Sehwag and so on .... Now in the last couple of days, Pak is a super test side .... so what's new here :dontknow:

You were claiming Rahane to be better test bat than any of Pakistan's in last decade however with a sample size of only 15 Tests. And if Sample size is not considered,Even Shehzad and Sarfraz are beastly

If you are able to perform like that everywhere, then it can be safely assumed that he is at least a much better batsman than someone who has played more test matches but mostly at home.
