He made that audio clip public by releasing in Media. Not only that he filed a complaint againt Mulayam in Hazratganj police station, Lucknow under IPC section 506. That Audio clip is available on Internet however if you are not familiar with the accent of Etawah-Mainpuri region of UP, you may struggle to comprehend what is being spoken.

But within a year people realized Mulayams goodaraaj days are back again. Mayavati needs to return back. Or may be BJP needs to start managing affairs.

It was goondaraj period which people got so fedup that voted Mayavati in. ... According to sources, a few days back Thakur had sent in-charge of Jasran police station VK Trivedi to lines on the charge of dereliction of duty. The move infuriated Yadav, who applied pressure on the SP to depute Trivedi again at the same police station. He told Thakur about his close relationship with the nephew of the chief minister, but Thakur refused to oblige him. Sources said three days back some miscreants had kidnapped a jeweller from Padan town located under Jasrana police station. Angry over slackness of police, the local people had organised a road blockade and a demonstration at the police station. They were demanding action against the in-charge of the police station. It was under these circumstances that Thakur had transferred Trivedi to police lines.

In return they get a rape law which is going to grossly misused. nobody will touch a rapist minister in UP or other states. but innocents will be slapped rape charges right and left.

What was the option with people in 2012, Mayawati was becoming unpopular due to corruption issues and her self statue inaugrating style. BJP of UP comprising of 80 year old Kalyan Singh, Vinay Katiyar, Birj Bhshan Sharan, Lalji Tandon (popularly known in Lucknow as Lalchi), Adityanath under the leadership of Uma Bharti would have been a disaster. Congress the less we speak, the better will it be no body wants a person like Pramod Tiwari or Jagdambika Pal on CM seat. Then what was left, people voted for a young Akhilesh Yadav who looked educated and the only hope. Infact what option the people of UP still have , we cannot have Modi, the PM as well as CM. So whom they should vote? Either have someone like Modi or Arvind in the state or else people will go with the tried, tested and failed alternatives.

If the BJP do manage to win UP, i hope they bring somebody from outside to govern it as CM.

One of the big reason why Akhilesh has been big failure is because he has to make happy lots of people like Azam, Shivpal and his own father. The states which have done good like TN, Gujarat even Orissa have CM as a supreme leader of the party too so they need not be too much worried about their own party leaders. Faction in own party, too many CM candidates are big drawback for both BJP and Congress. Rather than these stupid one off cameos, it Would have been a perfect launch for Rahul Gandhi if in 2007 or 2012 he would have been projected as CM candidate. who knows if he would have developed UP, today he would have been our PM.

I feel you need an experienced hand for UP. Somebody with organisational experience. The problem with Akilesh is that with 0 prior experience he is now CM. If i became UP CM the truth is even i would mess things up. I may want to govern well but i lack the know how. The problem with the Akilesh and the SP is, its not just the Mulayam singh family. Its something similar to the al-Saud family in KSA. Its like a freaking clan. Pretty soon out of 403 seats some 200-300 seats will be somebody related to the Mulayam singh yadav family. So he is going to lack the degree of independence. Somebody like Om Mathur or Kailash Vijayvargiya come to mind. experienced hands. Deputy CM can be somebody local. While home can be somebody local as well.

He has been vocal about many issues previously also, he was instrumental in getting few Facebook group banned who were posting abusive things against Mahatma Gandhi. He also is smart to reach out to media beforehand so that he does not get killed or harmed. He has got the publicity, perfect launch pad for starting his carrier in politics. As G_B has said before, it is still not clear as to why Mulayam Singh abused him. He currently as a senior buerocrat (IG Rank) is part of the system which works under the Chief Minister Office. The Chief Minister , how so ever bad is, has been elected by the people of UP so would just want him not to become any hurdle in functioning of his own government. Currently his wife is social activist, so as someone who is drawing salary from government he has to make sure that it is not a case of Quid Pro quo. Rest, govenment will change, new CM will come and the same story will get repeated.
