sourab10forever Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I saw that there was clear uncertainty over who was leading the side in the absence of kholi on day 3 of the Colombo test. Some official announcement has to be made on who the vice captain is.Esp when you are on a away tour. The coach has not yet been finalized even after 4 months. Taking a call on IPL's future seems to be more important. Nor have they made the roles of the other staff (Sanjay bangar, bharath arun,Ravi ) clear. Also Seems that after the resignation of the official physio, a permanent contact with a new physio has not been made.I Can't seem to find a reason that the richest board can't make such petty decisions quickly. . Also who do you think should be kholi's deputy? Ashwin, rahane or vijay?
Vijy Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Given that it's the BCCI, it's probably negligence.
Gunner Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Ashwin should be the Vice captain. Judging from his interviews, he has good cricketing intelligence.
Vijy Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Rohit Sharma. Because he's talented. Also has the flair.
sourab10forever Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 Vijay is the senior most since he made his debut in 2010.
HippoSucks Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 The BCCI neglects a lot of issues... Ashwin should definitely be the vice-captain. He seems to be very intelligent and is a cool-headed person.

Gollum Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 BCCI cares only about $$$$. No accountability whatsoever and with so many political links, what better to expect from them? But they also realize that majority of the public has stopped caring about the national team's performances these days and are only interested in cheap entertainment like IPL. BCCI will be very efficient in taking care of that fixed league , feck Team India as far as they are concerned.

Perhaps one day we will continue to do so badly that the public will react.. and then act.
