Donny Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Why is it raining in Summer ? What a strange question. :hmmmm2: Where in the world, other than maybe some extreme desert areas, does summer = 3 months of drought ?
The Outsider Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 What a strange question. :hmmmm2: Where in the world, other than maybe some extreme desert areas, does summer = 3 months of drought ? North India.:D
The Outsider Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Might as well go out for a drink. Looks like it's a washout today.
Mr. Wicket Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 But this is Melbourne, Summer doesn't apply here... it's all four seasons every day. :D
Desi Cartman Posted December 21, 2007 Author Posted December 21, 2007 But this is Melbourne' date=' Summer doesn't apply here... it's all four seasons every day. :D[/quote'] Sad but true :hatsoff:
Ram Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 If there is any play, we must declare first thing in the morning and give our bowlers a decent go.
Guest Hiten. Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 venky acts like he's ventakesh (the hyderabadi actor)... his facial expression is a killer :hysterical:
DesiChap Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 This match has been called off even before the match start time due to heavy showers.
Ram Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Wow, that is so unfortunate. We would have done well with some decent batting practice. We may pay a heavy price for this in the first test.
SachDan Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 So unfortunte... I don't want this to reflect on the performance of our players at MCG. Just stay positive...

fineleg Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 No no.. A person with the screen name "10doolkar" MUST be a crazy fan of Dodda Ganesh' date=' surely ! :D[/quote'] I will pray for that
Donny Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Wow' date=' that is so unfortunate. We would have done well with some decent batting practice. We may pay a heavy price for this in the first test.[/quote'] It's the bowlers who needed practice. I keep reading how the Indian bats are in such good form but 700 runs in an innings isn't worth a cracker if your bowlers can't take 20 wickets. MSD (or whoever made the decision) really missed the boat by electing to bat first.
