Yep.....He was good in the first 2 tests in England....I still beleive if Zak had been fit in that series :banghead: Ishant would have done a lot better, infact we would have been a lot more competitive in that series...looking back compared to Aus 2011 and 2014 or even England 2014....that series had some fantastic spells by Indian bowlers but as a unit we sucked balls. Sreeshanth's spell,Ishant's Spell,PK's spells were all fantastic but only if the other bowlers had stepped up when one was in rythm :banghead:
Our fast bowlers never do well as a group. You can count those instances on fingers they have done that.

If he keeps his seam upright' date=' he might do better than before.[/quote'] Well seeing his past performance makes me wary so somehow doubt it But do think he has learnt to bowl tight spells if conditions are flat like he did Aus.So maybe experience is making him finally come good we will see

I don't think his record in Oz tour was all that good.

Just saw the highlights. Ishant :hail: Aaron and Yadav too need to start sledging and get aggresive, especially Yadav who's too docile atm.

Wicket taking No But he was bowling some decent tight spells which hepled build pressure regularly
That's a role for the support bowler... not someone who's allegedly the spearhead. But, on helpful pitches, his returns seem to have slightly improved in consistency.

He did make life difficult at Gabba for Aussies chasing 130 odd.
