BeautifulGame Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 India has more than enough quality stadiums that we can afford to ban some for failing in basic things. Yeah but matches aren't allocated based on quality of stadium but how much influence they had with the board . So these concerns are pretty much moot
OpeningBatsman Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) I hope DY Patil stadium gets to host International matches. I stay nearby and it's a beautiful venue with no cheap "steps" for people to sit. Only issue is the lack of a 5 star Hotel in the vicinity as the stadium is in Navi Mumbai so players have to travel 1.30 hours to get to the stadium from Hotels in Mumbai. Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 D Y Patil is a better stadium than Wankhede. Also i dont know why everytime a match happens at cuttack teams are put up at Mayfair Bhubaneswar and not other hotels.
kira Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 hopefully the people of cuttack will behave this time and don't embarrass india again jalebi_bhai 1

You would think the state cricket association would have these basic things sorted out. There are no five star hotels at cuttack. Teams used to stay in bhubaneswar at hotel May fair and travel to cuttack by bus. tweaker 1

Why always Mayfair? Why delay the team arrival just so that they can stay in Mayfair?Whats wrong with the Trident?
