Typical Sachin boys; 100 is everything...  match-winning contribution hardly matters... LOL @ reconsidering the evaluation...

So lets just forget his countless 30-40 odd match-winning runs along humongous amount of 83 fifties, batted #4,5 in almost all of his career...

(just thinking how we can break-up ODI tons of Misbah... May be we should not even consider him as a batsman then)

Typical Afridi fanboys who comment without understanding the intricacies of the discussion. I am talking about the break up of his hundreds. It's not that only hundreds matter, it's more to do with why Inzy(greatest player of fast bowling as proclaimed and proved by the great PTI leader and ex husband of Reham Khan, Imran Khan himself) could only score centuries vs Ind/SL and Zimbabwe but not against Australia, South Africa, etc. Misbah does not have hundreds at all so the question of a break up does not arise. If you want to make use of sarcasm at least make sure you have fully understood what you are arguing for.

i am a bit surprised to see that in ODIs .....Inzamam  averages just 26 in Australia,    27 in South Africa    24 in NZ   and    34 in England. That is poor.

In tests he averages 30 in Australia and     31 in South Africa

Poor indeed. Overrated.

he batted mostly at 5, how many batsmen batting at 5 have more tons?

ABDV has batted mostly at 4 (or 5) I think. Has lots of tons.

As posters have noted, it's not Inzi's lack of tons, but the skewed averages. I'd rather take Dravid (even in ODIs) over Inzi since they were both middle order bats, have somewhat similar records; besides, Dravid had other skills (slips, part-time keeping, etc).
