Looks like someone did...

BCCI should have just conveyed the message that such things should not be posted without it becoming public.

If it became public ,then it shows they are keen on being seen as sanskari now.

Anil Kumble with his talk about respecting seniors also comes across as someone who follows the old school thoughts.It really is not required.Which junior in the Indian cricket scene does not respect seniors? Respect beyond a point should be hard earned .

 

Looks like there is a conscious effort to   move away from the 'Ravi Shastri,lets paaaarty ' style of functioning . There should be a mid way where people are allowed to be individuals as long as they follow the team discipline on and off the field. Moral lecturing is a big put off.

 

A guy who drinks beer and parties in his personal time but stays fit even in off cricket season is far better than a person who touches seniors feet and does Sirji Sirji all the time but comes back to the training camp with a big paunch .

Completely agree....

Thats actually a concern imo .  Especially defending against off spinners he needs to crouch & will keep the close in fileders busy

But will able to play well on bouncy tracks...and he has looked good against spinners...let's see.
