Adi_91 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) Isn't women's courage a new thing in India? We are always bestowed with women who have excelled despite severe hardships. Not to forget Nirbhaya, she is an inspiration to every women's spirit in India. Edited September 21, 2016 by Adi_91 tweaker 1
Brainfade Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 Every culture, including ours, has always had courageous women and men. This is nothing new. What is novel is the creative new opportunity that these particular women have gotten to express themselves and have a good life, instead of being shunned by society. beetle 1
beetle Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 It is very important for victims to get up and lead a near normal life.Whether acid attack or rape victims.....the intent of the offender is to deny them a normal life. A victim getting a life back is the biggest deterrent against such crimes. When the offender is punished and the victim heals and goes on with life ......that is the best revenge. Easier said than done. I hope the govt spends money and effort in rehabilitating these people .
Tibarn Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 There was also a fashion show with acid attack victims modeling a while back Brainfade 1
