you're all thick. Tendulkar's tactics with the tail were AGGRESSIVE. Isn't that what we've always wanted from our team? It was a high risk / high reward strategy. Farming the strike may well have GUARANTEED a MINIMUM amount of runs eked out with the tail. However, he demonstrated greater AMBITION than that. The only way India were going to make those 180 runs were by employing the tactics he did. Of course it could have all gone terribly wrong but that is sport. that's what you call being aggressive - not barging into some opponent on the field. He shunned safety-first. this is 100% correct.

i agree with u.. morever he dint fall for aussie trap... aussies were frustrated to the core when the tail wagged.. thts the best thing in this.. seriously look at bret lee he was by Ishant for consequetive 4s. not by edges.. by proper shots.. wasnt tht more frustrating for a bowler to get hit by a tailender... In tht way, its a very good ploy to frsutrate the aussies and get on their top.. agreed, it mite have gone terribly wrong as well...but thts gamble u pay for.

Guest Hiten.

nope we wanted him to do these things: - score 100 - play aggressive after getting to 100 - get out in the process of playing aggressive (hmm..on score of 100-110) - so we can start another debate of "tendulkar only plays for 100" hope that helps you... you dumb tendulkar supporter ciao PS: (pun intended)

its limited overs' date=' whereas test is not..[/quote'] Aaarrgh! What I meant is, when ur #11 is with you, SRT can think like a ODI over#47, and start playing risky shots even if the field is defensive. Same mindset can be employed here, since the other guy is #11 and its almost like the overs are ticking away quickly to the close of the innings.
